We follow stringent processes for all the clipper blades we sharpen. These vary depending on the style of blade, but always include thorough inspection and cleaning, machining (the actual sharpening process), lubrication and testing. For Detachable A5 style blades we always check and adjust springs and sockets and re-align blades during reassembly. Every A5 blade we sharpen is tested dynamically by cutting rabbit fur. We carry a full range of spare parts for A5 blades to ensure we can get your clipper blades back up and running in peak condition. Replaceable parts for A5 blades include springs, sockets, glide-strips, screws and cutters.

We have imported specialised honing machinery to process all our clipper blades. By changing honing wheels we can reproduce either hollow or flat grind profiles, according to original manufacturers specifications.
